Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TicketFlow ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

TicketFlow is an online event ticketing platform that allows event organisers to create and sell tickets to events, and allows buyers to purchase and manage tickets. TicketFlow operates in Uganda and accepts payment in Uganda Shillings (UGX).

3. Organiser Responsibilities

  • Organisers are solely responsible for the events they create and promote.
  • Organisers must ensure events comply with all applicable Ugandan laws and regulations.
  • Organisers must honour all tickets sold through the Platform.
  • Organisers are responsible for providing accurate event information including date, time, venue, and ticket pricing.
  • Organisers must process refunds in accordance with the refund policy they set for their event.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers are responsible for providing accurate personal and payment information.
  • Tickets are non-transferable unless the organiser explicitly permits transfers.
  • Buyers must present a valid ticket (QR code) for entry to events.
  • TicketFlow is not responsible for events that are cancelled or modified by the organiser.

5. Fees and Payments

TicketFlow charges a service fee on each ticket sold. This fee is displayed at checkout. Payments are processed securely via Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel) or card. All prices are in Uganda Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is determined by the event organiser's refund policy. TicketFlow service fees are non-refundable. If an event is cancelled by the organiser, buyers will be eligible for a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Reselling tickets at inflated prices ("scalping") without organiser consent.
  • Creating fraudulent events or providing false event information.
  • Using the Platform for illegal activities.
  • Attempting to bypass security or access controls.

8. Intellectual Property

The TicketFlow platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of TicketFlow. Event content (images, descriptions) remains the property of the respective organisers.

9. Limitation of Liability

TicketFlow is a technology platform and is not liable for: event cancellations or changes; the actions of event organisers; loss or damage arising from attending events. Our liability to any user is limited to the service fees paid to TicketFlow in the preceding 3 months.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.
